Welcome to AmishSurvivalStore.com! We are in the process of developing survival kits made up of key items from Amish country that the Amish use in living there lives off the grid~ They are one of the only groups of people that could continue life as usual if the power grid was shut down. They have not only survived in America, they have thrived and prospered both in number and economies...
I am committed to bringing you the best of the
best from the Amish. Sincerely, Wade Yoder
I have a sister that lives in Berlin, Ohio in the area that holds the worlds largest population of Amish, (Holmes County). This is an awesome place to visit. It is one of the most peaceful quiet places that i know of. There are a lot of the Amish that come right past my sister's house in their buggies. Being here simply helps me prioritize on the more important things in life, when i get away from my busy schedule...
I grew up in the Amish Mennonite Community in Montezuma, GA. Most of our family that are Amish, live in the Amish settlement in Guthrie, KY. This is one of my favorite childhood memories, visiting our family there. The horse and buggy rides were a lot of fun!
My father and mother, Melvin and Ruth Yoder still live in Montezuma, GA. They owned and operated the Yoder's Catering Service for the past 25 years. My mother, Ruth Yoder is the author of the Montezuma Amish Mennonite Cookbooks Volume One and Two. The Yoder's Dutch Kitchen in Abbeville, South Carolina is owned and operated by my dad's brother Henry's family. Yoder's Duetch Haus Restaurant in Montezuma is owned and operated by my dad's brother Alva's family.
Growing up with these surroundings has given me a lot of exposure to the lifestyle and products from the Amish and Mennonites.
Thank you for your time and interest in our site and products. Sincerely Wade Yoder
